English learning facilitator

Job description

As part of the expansion of its team, the management of Yenne Kids' Academy is calling for applications for the position of English-speaking Learning Facilitator. You will be responsible for teaching the English program for primary education and young learners at YKA, under the supervision of the management and pedagogical team.

As a Learning Facilitator, you will contribute to students' progress and excellence in learning English while participating in our unique personalized education system.

Main responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess teaching and learning within YKA school programs
• Building the foundations of learning with methods adapted to individualization
• Use modern information and communication technologies to support learning
• Contribute to the development of high-quality teaching tools and methods
• Managing classes to keep students enthusiastic and involved
• Adapt teaching to student diversity with appropriate support
• Monitor students' individual progress
• Participate in rotations to supervise recess, lead assemblies or other tasks
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions and meetings with parents
• Maintain regular communication with parents and families
• Work as part of a team and maintain positive relations with colleagues
• Contribute to extracurricular activities organized by the school

Qualifications required

• University degree
• Teaching qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience (including teaching English as an additional language)
• Passion for teaching and learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Emotional intelligence
• Ability to establish positive working relationships
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in French
• EAL or TEFL qualification (desirable)
• Experience in peer-to-peer training (desirable)
