An exemplary career in vocational training

Babacar Seck, an emblematic figure in cooperation between Senegal and Japan, has been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, an imperial decoration. The award is in recognition of his many years of commitment to the Senegal-Japan Centre de Formation Professionnelle et Technique (CFPT). As a trainer, expert and director of this establishment, he has played a decisive role in strengthening the skills of hundreds of young Senegalese and Africans.

A bridge between two cultures

Thanks to his extensive training in Japan, Mr. Seck has developed a deep understanding of the Japanese culture and work ethic. He has been able to pass on these values to CFPT students, helping to strengthen ties between the two countries.
