A historic visit to the Palace of the Republic for YKA students
April 22, 2025 will remain an unforgettable date for the pupils of Yenne Kids' Academy, who had the exceptional privilege of visiting one of the most powerful symbols of the Republic of Senegal: the Presidential Palace.
Organized as part of our civic education program, this field trip gave our young learners a close-up look at the institutions of national governance, in a place steeped in history, power and republican symbols.

An unprecedented meeting with the country's highest authorities
Highlight of the visit: the meeting with His Excellency the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Fayeand Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko. These warm and inspiring exchanges left a deep impression on our students, awakening in them a heightened awareness of their future role in building a strong and united Senegal.

Cultural pride and civic commitment
Our students, dressed in their finest traditional outfits, were a credit to their school and their culture. They proudly embodied the values of respect, discipline and elegance that we at YKA hold dear.
This exceptional day would not have been possible without the remarkable collaboration of parentsthe commitment of our teaching staffand a warm welcome from the Palace authorities whom we sincerely thank.
"It was a great honor to be able to visit the Palace of the Republic and meet the President and Prime Minister. I learned a lot about our government and how our country works. One day, I'd also like to serve my country like them."
